This room makeover has been way overdue. I remember when I first transitioned my oldest daughter Mya’s room from a toddler’s room. I had all these great plans for her bedroom but as she continued to grow less and less did I know exactly what I wanted her room to be like.
Now at 8, I thought well I can do a swan themed room becuase they are super cute but Mya was hestitant and since it is her room afterall I wanted her to be happy with her bedroom too. She then told me she wanted a “Cat” room. So my “Cat” room search on pinterest for inspiration began, one thing I quickly realized is that there was barely any “Cat” inspired girl themed bedrooms. So the quest began I prolonged it hoping I would find something that would suit her “Cat” room request but also be classy at the same time. Eventually, around Novemeber19 I came across a few little girly Cat items that I thought would be the perfect addition to her room.
If you’ve seen my Nursery Design & Tour you’d know some of the elements when designing a space for my kids are it has to be something they can grow with for years and I could make minimal changes to. Decorating can be expensive especially when redoing everything so it’s was extremely important for me to design a space that would require little future expenses to change a room around.
