This past week I was 32 weeks pregnant and I have to say it’s amazing what a difference 1 week in pregnancy can do.
How far along? At 32 weeks pregnant I’ve been completely exhausted and have been experiencing a lot of back pain.
How big is the baby? According to my Ovia app My little Sugar Baby is the size of a motorcycle helmet. I could definitely tell she’s running out of room in my belly her movements are beginning to feel a lot stronger and I swear I can either feel her hands or feet pressing up against my belly as she moves. She makes me wonder all the time which body part is which lol! ??
Total weight gain/loss? This week I’ve gained about 2 pounds currently my Total weight gain is 150at 32 weeks pregnant. Keeping up with my low carb/sugar diet has been pretty difficult this week I will admit. Carbs are my frenemy right now and I struggled to stay away from them this week.
Maternity clothes? I honestly still don’t know how I’ve come this far without purchasing a few Maternity items lol. I will be purchasing a couple of items for my hospital bag and maybe (and that’s a huge maybe) a few items for what’s left of spring.
Stretch Marks? So far I only have the stretch marks from my previous pregnancy I use Palmers Vitamin E Moisturizing oil everyday multiple times a day. I hope I don’t get any in the future at least on my belly! I’ll be sharing this more in detail with you guys soon both on my blog & YouTube channel ?.
Sleep? This week I literally was unable to sleep at all I would go to bed late (1-2am) and wake up bright and early (5-6am). Sleeping at 32 weeks pregnant has become extremely uncomfortable and hope that I can get some rest during the remaining of my pregnancy especially since I’m pretty nervous that my sugar baby will come around 36 weeks.
Best moment this week? The best moment this past week I definitely have to say was being productive with my Real Estate Business. I’ve been wanting to really do my best prior to having to take a break once my baby girl arrives.
Symptoms? Aside from an overwhelming feeling of exhaustion nothing else from my 31 week pregnancy update regarding my symptoms has changed. You can read more about my 31 week pregnancy update: here
Food cravings? Pineapples are my best friend!
Food aversions? Salmon & eggs
Gender? We have known the gender to our baby since December however we waited until our 20 week ultrasound to confirm it for us. You can watch my Gender Reveal by clicking here ??
Movement? Lots of movement during my 32nd week of pregnancy, I will say I’m at least happy that she’s pretty gentle!
Labor signs? So far I don’t think I’ve had any labor signs during my 32nd week of pregnancy. However, I have been getting really bad back pain.
Wedding Rings on or off? Definitely still on I’m definitely happy about this and hope I can continue to wear them for the remainder of the pregnancy ?!
Belly button in or out? At 32 weeks pregnant my belly button is still in! I honestly don’t think it can stretch much more lol ?
What I miss? I miss having a lot more energy to get things done. I’m always so tired and all I ever want to do is sleep lol!
What I’m looking forward to? I’m looking forward to my next prenatal appointment on April 7th, we will be able to see our sugar baby again! They will be measuring her to see what her estimate weight & length is.
32 Weeks Pregnancy Milestones – According to my ovia pregnancy app:
“Baby is probably sucking on her thumb, and is busy sprouting some hair on her head. She is also rotating into the birthing position as she moves her head closer to your pelvis. It’s time to start thinking more about the delivery, including whether you want to use pain medication during labor.”
How’s Baby at 32 Weeks Pregnant? – According to my ovia pregnancy app:
“Baby keeps getting closer and closer to being born, and now measures in at close to 18 inches (45.7 cm), the size of a pomelo, and weighs about four pounds (1.8 kg). Her head has a full coating of fuzz, and her skin is filling out as she packs on the pounds. She is still a little ways away from her first mani-pedi, but she does have a full set of both fingernails and toenails already. In fact, one of her favorite activities right now is sucking her thumb, which actually improves coordination and familiarizes her with her body. You’re a bit of time away from when Baby sucking her thumb could be a problem – at this point, it’s probably actually a sign of healthy development.
Baby is really practicing for the big stage, breathing and “swimming” like crazy. She is also probably already in the head down position to prepare for delivery. Although there’s no guarantee, over 90% of babies born in the 32nd week of pregnancy survive, so if the reality of a person in your womb hasn’t sunk in yet, it really should soon.”
How’s mom at 32 Weeks Pregnant?
This late in your pregnancy, you know your symptoms pretty well, and of course they differ between all moms. You’ve probably reached a peak in that increased bloodflow by now that’s been contributing to any number of symptoms, so those symptoms are probably still present. Just remember, that extra 50% of blood in your body is currently helping to keep Baby snug and safe, and is going to help make up for the blood you lose in delivery. Probably the most common symptom of third trimester pregnancy is the increased need to pee, so never go too far from a bathroom! The hemorrhoids, flatulence, and constipation might continue as well. It’s also time to start thinking about what you want to do for pain management during delivery. You’ll have plenty of time to discuss your options with your healthcare provider, as you’ve reached the point where even the healthiest pregnant women’s appointments increase to once every two weeks. Epidural anesthesia is among the most common pain management options, though many women also opt for other medications, or elect to have medication-free births entirely.
It’s also important to prepare for after delivery – you want to be as prepared as you can be for Baby’s arrival, including “baby-proofing” the house to keep it as safe and welcoming as possible for the day when you finally get to bring her home. Baby may not be up and moving on her own right away, but she will reach that point sooner than you know it, and you’ll be glad to have dealt with any potential hazards before then.
